INTRANET IMAGE LIBRARY
Web Integrators were contacted and asked to help a client build a searchable image repository for around 30,000 corporate ‘clipart’ images, including company logos, world and country maps, national flags and staff photos.
Working with the client’s own IT department we were able to design and build a system based on Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint and develop a customised search system that allowed sophisticated searching across the library.
Document authors can now search the image library directly inside Microsoft Office products and can insert images into documents with a single click.
